In 2003, Christophe & Alexia Noyon created the 2 Caps brewery in the family farm named Belle Dalle, in Tardinghen (Pas-de-Calais). He was an agricultural engineer (ISA Lille) and he went to the University of Louvains la Neuve (Belgium) where he passed a brewering master. She graduated from Angers Business School (ESCA).
Perfectly situated between Cap Gris-Nez and Cap Blanc-Nez, the Belle Dalle farm is a huge and beautiful house made of Boulonnais stones from the XVIIIth century, surrounding a magnificent dovecote.
The brewery is set up in the outbuildings which used to be a stable.
Since their creation in 2003, the beers are mainly sold in the Côte d'Opale area, by cheese and wine sellers, cafés, restaurants, and by some grocery stores.
In France, the beer segment being strongly industrialized, we were losing the taste and the diversity of the craft beers. For a few years, new small breweries have been proposing tasty and different craft beers.
Our firm is one of these breweries. We create new beer recipes, that are original and very good quality. To highlight and to innovate, to explain and to combine, to anchor locally the beer is, for us, the real job of the craft brewer. Much more than developing the volumes.
